Based on the example above, we would take the total cost and quantity of your mailing and divide it evenly over an 8-week period. This means we’d mail 625 menus per week and bill you $347 per week for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks of mailing, all 5,000 addresses have received your menu. Keep in mind, you can choose any direct mail product, quantity, and mailing schedule you want.

Our Annual Mailing Program solves all of these problems. We take our weekly mailing strategy that you learned about above and customize it to market your restaurant every week of the year using a variety of heavy hitting direct mail pieces. This program ensures your restaurant has affordable and effective marketing that consistently increases your covers & sales every single week of the year regardless of how busy you are.

  • Example Annual Mailing Program

    A restaurant with a budget of $319 a week could choose the following mix of campaigns, products, mailing areas, quantities, and mailing weeks. To determine the weekly payment, we would take the total cost for all 6 campaigns and divide it evenly over 52 weeks. We’d then spread each 5,000-piece campaign over 2 months. At the end of the year, all 5,000 addresses would receive six different mailers.

Interested in using the Post Office’s Every Door Direct Mail Retail® service? We offer two solutions to assist you in achieving your goals. Our EDDM® Print Only service is for businesses that want send direct mail and take advantage of our low printing rates, but manage the rest of the process themselves. If you prefer to have less off your plate you can utilize our EDDM® Ready-to-Go services where we do the heavy lifting of printing, selecting the carrier routes, bundling your pieces, and filling out the USPS paperwork. You simply drop the pieces off at the postoffice when you’re ready to mail.
